Named ScholarshipsCreating a Named Scholarship, Working Towards an Endowed ScholarshipEstablishing a named scholarship in memory or in honor of an individual provides a lasting legacy of his/her contributions to the choral arts, and provides critical educational support to young musicians. To establish a named TCDA Scholarship requires an initial gift of $5,000 to begin the process of establishing an endowment. There can be a three year period to raise the funds needed to establish the endowment. TCDA will help publicize the effort by publishing the establishment of the scholarship in publications and on our website. Family and friends establishing the named scholarship are also expected to help raise funds. Establishing an endowed scholarship will leave a lasting legacy and a perpetual gift for generations to come. For more information on creating a named scholarship, please e-mail Sharon Lott at [email protected] or call the TCDA Office at 512-474-2801.
